We had another fun filled week in the 4's room!

On Monday we stayed at Joyful Noise and played at the Dome. We also filled our sensory table with some "sprinkles" and scoops of "ice cream" and the kiddos have been having fun making up some ice cream sundaes!

On Tuesday we took a walk with the 3's class to get ice cream at Dairy Treat!

On Wednesday we went to the Library where they had a zookeeper from John Ball Zoo come and talk about the zoo. She had lots of great facts about the zoo to share with us, and even brought a tortoise, great horned owl, and a skunk!

On Thursday we had a water day at the Dome!

On Friday we took a walk down to the Imagination Station!

What a fun week!

On Monday we went to the Library where they were having a 'Touch-A-Truck' event. The kids got to climb inside a school bus, Harbor Transit bus, Coast Guard boat, firetruck, police motorcycle, a snowplow, a county truck, an ambulance, and a few others I'm sure I am forgetting!

On Wednesday we had our first Water Day of the summer. The kids had a blast cooling off in the sprinkler! We also did our Mentos in Diet Coke experiment. We tried 7 Mentos in the first bottle, 6 in the second bottle, and they had me fill up the tube for the third bottle, which was around 11 or 12 Mentos. The kids loved this experiment and are already asking when we can do it again!

On Thursday we went to the Library again to listen to a Story Teller, Bob Kanegis. He was a really good storyteller! The kids loved his stories and he did a great job keeping their attention. Ask your child about some of his stories!

On Friday we also had a very nice picnic lunch at Central Park!
