February 20-24

Another fun and busy week, I can't believe it is almost the end of February already!

Monday was Tatum's Birthday! She brought in some very yummy cupcakes :)

We played with some play dough this week. We will be using it next week to make some buildings.

We practiced counting to 5 and grouping

Our Letter of the Week was the letter Ss!

The kids have been hard at work making some ABC Books.

Tatum enjoyed making her ABC Book so much that she cut out her own paper to make an ABC train all by herself!

We also made a Superhero book this week! Check it out on the shelf by the clipboard!

The kids traced the Alphabet twice, upper and lower case, so 104 letters! The were so excited they could do that much work!

On Friday morning, since it was so gloomy outside, they turned on the lamp and made a cozy reading area before breakfast.

A building as tall as they are!

Ben and Nolan made a sea animal life system!

February 13-17 2017

We had a very busy week! With our Valentine's Day party, a special classroom visitor, delivering cards to the Women's Meeting at the church, and all of our schoolwork!

Our letter of the week this week was the letter Gg! We also did some work with shapes, and the beginning sounds of words.

Our Valentine's Day party was a ton of fun!!

Our Heart hats for our party!

We Celebrated 100 Days of School this week! I hid 100 pennies around the classroom for the kids to find, they found them quite quickly!

We also made some 100 fireworks! We put 10 dots of 10 different colors to make 100!

Vivian's dad, Jay, came to our classroom to talk about his job building! The kids were very excited and had lots of questions to ask him. They also got the chance to build some Lego buildings with him too!

We did a tasty graphing exercise with some candy hearts!

Some early morning coloring

The School Agers joined us on Friday!
