Our Letter of the Week this week was Kk!

We worked on our pop beads again, they are super tricky! A few of the kids managed to get 4-5 of them together
We worked on our beginning sounds with a fun Sound Sorting game
We also made up some more turkeys for our turkey farm! The kids colored, cut, and glued their turkeys! Lots of great fine motor work!
We made our own applesauce this week. We used 11 cups of chopped apples, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a cup of water. It cooked in the crock pot for 3 hours on high and then we mushed the apples. The kids really loved it!
This week we got out some blocks made of tree parts and some Lincoln logs. The kids have been having a ton of fun building different things and working together.
The kids all worked together to make a fall mural. We added some fun sparkly leaves (thank you Long family!) and the kids were writing their names, the letter K, and some fun pictures!
On Monday we took a walk to Duncan's Wood! The kids had so much fun running around and exploring, they found some really cool things!
Clara found a lot of cool sticks
We found this cool log that was starting to decompose
They were trying to count the rings on this stump
Luca found a tree with a hole in it
The kids found these sticks and decided it was a skunk home!
We found this cool fort that someone had built and the kids loved checking it out!
Trying to count the rings
We did a Journal Entry while we were at Duncan's Wood about what we saw while we were there!
