Our Letters of the Week this week were 'Aa' and 'Ii'!
We did some more measuring and comparing in the water table!
We used our wooden letter pieces to build letters.
We practiced writing out our last names!
We used playdough to build houses. Many of the kiddos rolled out logs or made bricks to build their houses!
The kids worked together to organize and sort these lengths of sting from shortest to longest. It was a little trickier than they thought it was going to be!
The kids took blocks and created a pattern and then recorded their pattern onto their paper
We used the dominoes to make patterns too. Take a look at how Cash made his pattern vertical!
Friday was Dr. Seuss's birthday! We celebrated by reading Green Eggs and Ham. We also made some "Green Eggs" out of baking soda, water, and green food coloring. The kids then took eye droppers and squirted some vinegar onto their eggs to see what would happen!
After everyone had a turn I showed them what would happen if we poured a whole cup of vinegar in the bowl. It bubbled over and onto the table!
