Our Letter of the Week this week was 'Ss'!
We made shapes on our Geoboards
We practiced writing our names
We worked on spelling our names with our letter stamps
We used these apples to match upper and lower case letters
The kids worked on matching up different pictures to the season they go with
Fun with Tangrams!
Miss Kim worked with the kids to see which bowl had more and how many were in each bowl
We used these colorful rocks to make some fun pictures!
We have been reading the story Henny Penny and the kids worked together to put the story in the right order
We have also been reading Turkey Trouble, and talking about the costumes the turkey uses to disguise himself. The kiddos did a journal page on how they would disguise their turkey!
The kids also took turns being a turkey for a fun art project! Be sure to check out their name turkeys on the Lego Loft!
While I was taping the turkeys to the Lego Loft the kids wanted a piece of tape on their noses! They all said they were turkeys and the tape was their snood! (snoods are the red thing on a turkeys beak)
When it is clean up time we have been setting a timer and if the kids get the room cleaned before the timer goes off then we have been having dance parties!
