We worked on writing our names with a Capital first letter and then the rest lowercase
We used paint, bells, and an oatmeal container to make sure fun jingle bell paintings! Check them out outside our classroom door!!
Kai shook so hard it took off flying!
We did a Candy Cane experiment where we put candy canes in cold water, hot water, and shampoo to see what would happen! I recorded the kids guesses beforehand, you can check them out over by our large group bulletin board.
The cold water took off most of the red stripes, the hot water really started to dissolve the candy cane! And, the shampoo took off the very thin red lines.
We painted paper plates and then decorated them to look like gingerbread man faces
I also got out more instruments for the kids to check out and play with!
We did some Action Patterns in class! Such as "jump, spin, kick, jump, spin, kick" The kids thought this was a lot of fun and we even continued to make up patterns while we were in the Rec Room
For part of our Music Study we went downstairs and spent some time with Miss Maryanne who is the Music Director for the Church. She talked with the kids about their instruments and the notes that they can make! The kids did such a great job listening and being respectful to the instruments.

We made up some Thank You Cards for Miss Maryanne!
We had a ton of fun at our class Christmas Party!!
We had a super fun Pajama day! We had hot chocolate, popcorn, and we watched The Polar Express!
Each kiddo got their own ticket to the Polar Express and got to punch it!
We made up some fake snow too! You just add a little bit of water to this powder and it expands and feels a lot like real snow! The kids had a ton of fun playing with it and exploring....a few weren't too sure about it though!
The kid have been having fun playing with our new toys for the classroom!
Ceci, Ava, and Sophia are getting to be experts at the pop beads!
We had fun playing outside!
We also made up some fun sugar cookies! We enjoyed them during lunch!
