Our Letter of the Week this week was Yy!
We have also been continuing to practice writing names with an upper case first later and lower case for the rest! If your child is writing their name at home, please help them to remember that is how we write our names.
It's a new month and that means a new coloring, cutting, gluing project for our cupboards! This month we are making snowmen, make sure to check them out!
We have been playing with Froogz!
We have been talking a lot about rhyming words and how to make poems. We worked in groups on Monday to write some poems and we worked on matching up these rhyming cards!
We have been reading the book "Sneezy the Snowman" and talking about different things that can melt snow.
So we made our own melting snowmen! Each child cut out 5 black circles (eyes and mouth) and one orange triangle (nose), they then glued some pre-cut white squares and their face onto their paper. I then had the kids pick a name for their snowman and tell me how their snowman melted. You can check them out in the hall by the stairs!
We had fun playing Yeti in My Spaghetti this week too!
We had some great weather this week and been enjoying our time outside!
