We worked on numbers 7 & 8 this week
We worked on making our own patterns
We sorted these small manipulatives by shape, and by color
And we sorted these foods by type!
Bowling fun!
The kiddos sorted our growing collection of recyclables. They did a great job!
We did a journal page on recycling too!
Miss Kathy G. came up from the kitchen on Friday and was showing the kids the pineapple that they were going to be eating for lunch! The kids got to pass it around and check it out, and then Miss Kathy showed us how she gets the pineapple out for us to eat!
We made some new playdough this week
On Wednesday morning the kiddos were asking me for ideas of what to draw. I came up with some pretty crazy ideas, and they did a great job drawing them!
Ceci with a mermaid in a waterfall and a unicorn jumping over a rainbow, with a bird and a butterfly. The unicorn is also wearing the same giraffe dress as Ceci!
Ava drew a Giraffe doing ballet!
Connor drew a dancing box!
Kai drew robots saving the world!
Ceci drew Anson in his cage!
Ava drew a princess in a castle being guarded by a dragon, with two rainbows and a forest!
Reid drew a kangaroo in the desert with a scorpion!
Kai drew a shark playing the violin!
Clara drew a dolphin and whale playing soccer!
Claire drew a mermaid jumping over the moon!
Ava drew the Easter bunny and Santa Claus having lunch together in the North Pole!
Clara drew a tree with birds!
Ava drew a flamingo and a penguin having a tea party!
Clara drew her and her sister having a fashion show, while her mom, dad, the tooth fairy, and the Easter bunny were in the audience!
Ava drew a fish blowing heart shaped bubbles to a mermaid!
Piper with her own creation!
Ava drew an octopus playing the piano!
Great job Piper!
Silly fun with the prisms!
We have been saving our "dried up" markers throughout the year. We are recycling them into paint! The kids were amazed to see how much ink was still left in some of the markers they thought we dried up. And, we discovered a few that were almost brand new markers, but the lids had been left off, so they wouldn't work to color with.
