Our Letter of the Week this week was "Cc"
We talked about shapes and sorted them
We used our letter stamps to spell out of names and some other words we know!
We continued to work on learning our names
We got out our Froogz to play with, and each group decided to work together and connect a circle around the table.
We also used our Tangrams to make different objects.
We worked on our letter sounds with our alphabet soup game
We decorated some fun place mats for our upcoming Harvest Party
We made a graph on who thought our pumpkin would sink or float and then tested our experiment
It floats!
We used some hammers and golf tees to hammer into our pumpkin
We used tweezers to get the kennels off these ears of dried corn
The kids really enjoyed looking at and discussing all the different colors in the corn!
We also carved our pumpkin! First we made a chart and rolled a die to see what shapes our face would be carved out of. Then we got to work!
None of the kids wanted to help me scoop out the "guts"!
Owen and Annalee were brave enough to try a bit of the "guts" they weren't too sure about it!
Raegan and Hayden helped me sort out the seeds
