Today we made Corn Bread! The kids were super excited when I brought the cart full of ingredients into the classroom. We started by sorting our wet & dry ingredients and talking about why we needed each ingredient.
The kids were excited to help with sifting the ingredients together! They said it was hard work working the sifter!!
After the dry ingredients were sifted we mixed the wet and dry ingredients together. All the kids took a turn stirring and mixing, but, we forgot to get any pictures of them doing it!
Our tasty bread after it came out of the oven! Lots of the kids said it looked like a pie and not bread!
We cut it up and everyone got to try a piece. Almost everyone liked it, but a few friends said it wasn't their favorite.
Tomorrow we will be baking again!
