Our Letter of the Week this week is Hh!
We are all getting really good at our names!
We worked on matching up some rhyming words
The kids took turns going around the room with lengths of string and measuring and comparing! They were having a ton of fun telling us which things were longer or shorter than their string.
We took some of our groceries from our kitchen area and played a fun coupon match game with them
We had lots of fun playing with the bristle blocks!
On Friday we read the book "Pete's a Pizza" and then the kids all took turns being made into a pizza, jut like Pete in the story! We put toppings on them, put them in the oven, but all the pizzas ran away before we could eat them!
I then let the kids know that we were going to be making our own pizza for lunch! (We were running a bit short on time and plastic gloves, so the kids helped me measure everything and we did a lot of talking about how the pizza dough is made and comes together)
It was a hit! And many of the kids said they would love to make pizza at home too!
